Take Trips MES (mentally, emotionally, and spiritually) Inc is a nonprofit organization based in Ossining, NY, established to provide adequate aftercare services to youth of color who are returning to their communities after being in the incarceration and detention system. If you have a passion for social justice and seeing the disproportionate population receive what they have long laced, then Take Trips MES, is absolutely where you want to begin this journey to seek change for these youth and provide them with the tools they need to elevate mentally, emotionally, and spiritually (MES).

AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Spokesperson
The Spokesperson position requires a candidate who can speak clearly with compassion and empathy. You need to be able to get the attention of the audience and engage the viewers to be interested in our mission. We need you to be charismatic in order to draw people in order to gain donations for our organization.
We would like the candidate to be socially conscious to the struggles of youth of color once they are released from the incarceration system, as well as systemic racism surrounding this population.
This position requires applicants to be at least eighteen years of age.
Local Photographer
We are looking for a local photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be located in or near Westchester county and have some photography experience. The photographer will complete a variety of projects for Take Trips MES. These will include photographing our events and some creative projects to post on our social media and website.

Events Coordinator
We are seeking an events coordinator. The ideal candidate will have organizing experience and communicating experience. This person will need to network and multitask. This person will also need to input programs and execute. This person will need to ensure all performers, and attendees are appropriate and on time.

Grant Writer/Researcher
Take Trips Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually is searching for a volunteer for our Grant Researcher/Writer. Our non-profit organization is seeking financial support for our mentorship, counseling, and job readiness programs. We need a volunteer skilled in conducting research to determine what grants Take Trips Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually is eligible for. Based on these grants, we need a skilled writer to reach out to organizations by writing grant proposals.
This position requires applicants to be at least eighteen years of age.
Job Developer
We are seeking a job developer. This person will help Take Trips MES by engaging with potential employers. This person will meet weekly with mentors and mentees. Not only that but this person will also create a job readiness packet and enhance job readiness skills (resume writing, cover letter, job application submission). This person will have to maintain effective communication with employers and the youth. This person will also work with our researcher. Job Coach will assist with daily tasks.

Media Graphic Designer
We are seeking a media graphic designer. This person will be responsible for illustrations, logos, and other Take Trips MES designs. This person will have IT skills, communication skills. This person will also need to pay attention to details and present ideas to the team regarding website, Youtube, and Facebook. This person will also need photo editing skills.
This position requires applicants to be at least eighteen years of age.
Co-Executive Director
We are seeking a co-executive director. This person must have knowledge of prison system. This person will need excellent communication skills. This person will also be a Board Member support as well as a staff support. This person must be willing to commit for 6-12 months. This person will need compassion for this population and excellent writing skills. This person will also need to be willing to tackle any tasks.
