PARENTING SUPPORT

Many youth returning from the detention and incarceration system, arrive at Take Trips MES with a history of family trauma and strife, resulting in tense family relationships and parental issues. Many of our youth are also young parents, who need support and guidance in this process. Parenting classes will address and encourage positive communication skills, conflict mediation, co-parenting skills, and a variety of parenting techniques.
